Commissions Coordinator

Job Summary:

The Commissions Coordinator is responsible for documentation calendar development/execution oversight and escalation management/resolution.


Supervisory Responsibilities:

·        This position does not have supervisory responsibilities.



·        Responsible for supporting the Senior Manager Commissions with the creation and maintenance of commission documentation including commission plans programs and commission opportunities

·        Includes comparing to the prior year and prior selling season to identify all changes within the commission plan to support commission plan design efforts and implementation processes

·        Responsible for developing a holistic payroll execution calendar with deliverables and owners noted

·        Communicate the execution calendar and hold owners accountable to delivering on time to ensure all payroll deadlines are met

·        Responsible for creating and maintaining the commission escalation form for Sales Managers and Regional Managers to populate with any escalation/commission review requests

·        Manage all escalations including preliminary research to ensure the issue is fully documented for the Analytics team to begin their research

·        Communicate resolution to the escalation originator in a clear concise format

·        Maintain an aging report of all escalations/commission review requests

·        Drive timely review and resolution with the Analytics team

·        Serve as a primary point of contact for all commission escalations/commission review requests

·        Identify operational efficiencies including self-service tools and work cross-functionally to implement and drive efficiency throughout the variable commission process across levels and employee types

·        Support all other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager Commissions of the VP Sales Operations

·        Self-motivated with an extremely strong sense of urgency

·        Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to drive priorities and accountability throughout the commission process that crosses several functional areas with critical timelines and activities

·        Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment

·        Leverage analytical skills business knowledge and financial acumen to evaluate variable commission outputs for reasonableness

·        Ability to synthesize and summarize data into executive summaries that is easy to consume and clearly relays pertinent points

·        Time management skills to ensure adherence to strict deadlines

Education and Experience:

·        Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred

·        2+ years of related experience required


Physical Requirements:

·       Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
